Women in Harmony is a women’s community choir in its third year singing together, focusing on Broadway and popular music spanning multiple decades in three part harmony. The goal is to bring people together through music, camaraderie, and the joy of choral singing. Rehearsals will begin for existing members on September 14th, with no rehearsal on Monday September 21st due to the observance of Yom Kippur. First-time members will join rehearsals on Monday, September 28th. All registered members will receive additional information before rehearsals start.
Dates: Mondays, September 14–December 14. No class on September 21.
Time: 7:00-8:30 PM
Place: La Grande Park building
Age: Women 22 and older
Cost: $25 materials fee. Please pay the instructor, in cash, at the first class.
About the instructor: Women in Harmony is under the direction of Debbie Shapiro, former SPF Music Teacher of over 20 years. She can’t wait to collaborate with vocalists who want a challenging, friendly and fun creative outlet.
