We will explore water-based Acrylics and learn how to mix colors successfully. A smock or clothes that can get dirty is a must! Learning the process of being a successful painter is key. We do this by learning composition, researching artists and seeing examples of work that may influence them. A little sketching outside to get our creative juices flowing. Then it’s time to dive into painting a seascape and learn how to abstract them. A week of thinking and creating. A reference photo will be given to the artist and we will first paint it realistically and then allow for individual expression. All materials will be there to work with. Their work will be unique to who they are and we will learn from one another.
