Children overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors, and most importantly, their minds. With a bit of ingenuity, they create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
Time: July 14–18, 9 AM–12 noon
Place: Forest Road Park building
Grades: Entering grades K–6 in the fall
Cost: $275. $100 discount if you sign up for both Eureka: The Inventors’ Camp and Red Hot Robots Camp.
For children who sign up for both camps, there will be a supervised lunch from 12–1 PM. Students should bring their own lunch. Refrigeration available.
