It’s an exciting week of exploring art! Smock or clothes that can get dirty is a must. We will explore 2D and 3D art as well as work with textures. There will be paint, beans, possibly paper mache or clay. All materials will be there to work with. One of our projects is a mixed material seascape collage created from paints and other materials. The children will be shown examples and exposed to artists using this technique. Everyone will be given a canvas to work on and we will discuss and sketch out their composition with my direction. In the end, their artwork will be beautiful and unique to the student. Cannot wait to create art in the summer of 26!
